Big Sky Resort is just one hour's drive from Yellowstone Park, features accommodations in a spectacular natural setting. In winter, skiers and snowboarders can experience more than 3,600 acres (1,457 hectares) and 4,350 vertical feet (1,326 meters) of downhill excitement blanketed with 400 inches of annual snowfall. The Lone Peak tram reaches within 15 feet (4.5 meters) of the 11,166-foot (3,403 meters) summit. Summer season offers golf on an Arnold Palmer-designed course, scenic gondola rides, hiking, mountain biking, white-water rafting, horseback riding, and fly-fishing in five blue-ribbon trout streams
