The Dubai Lagoon is a community of 49 residential blocks of apartments that are built around a sapphire lagoon. Situated close to the new airport, and less than 8 miles (12 kilometers) from the Burj Al Arab, the resort is only a short drive from three golf courses, and international shopping centers, including the Mall of the Emirates, with the amazing Ski Dubai. On-site amenities include a mosque, a supermarket, shops, restaurants, cafes, swimming pools, children's play area, and healthcare facilities
