The resort, recipient of the Gold Star of Excellence from the Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Association, is situated south of Myrtle Beach on the Wachesaw East Golf Course, the Myrtle Beach Golf Association's 2007 Golf Course of the Year as well as a former home of the LPGA Myrtle Beach Golf Classic. Moments from the Atlantic Ocean, the area has more than 100 championship golf courses.
