At Swiss Mountain Village, the rustic and comfortable accommodations are Swiss-style chalets or rough-hewn log cabins. Each unit has a full kitchen, washer/dryer, stone fireplace with gas logs, relaxing covered porch, Wi-Fi, and cable TV. Air conditioning and telephones are not included. Enjoy the surrounding nature and go fishing at the on-site trout pond. The resort is located off the Blue Ridge Parkway, at mile marker 292, a mile (1.6 kilometers) from Blowing Rock and 6 miles (9.6 kilometers) from Boone. In winter, a four-wheel drive vehicle may be recommended
